OK,
New problem! Just updated itunes to 12.2. Guess what, VDJ7 doesn't show the itunes folder anymore. Not really surprised as itunes connect is now happening online and it would have given all VDJ users unlimited free music. But anyway. it was handy to be able to view my most recent purchases and itunes playlists in VDJ.
Can I downgrade my itunes version and browse my itunes directory again?

Disregard last post for now. itunes database is showing up again. Might be a few bugs though.

Myself, I don't use itunes to manage my library but I've read some bad stuff about 12.2.

There was another post about that in the bug forum. I put in a few more links that dig a little deeper into the DRM information.

Late to the game, but I just found that even with the tip on the FAQ about renaming the Itunes db file, I couldn't find my playlists in VDJ. Coupled with the controversy over the DRM issues, I went ahead an uninstalled 12.2 and installed 12.1.2. Itunes playlists showed up just fine in VDJ. I'll be holding on to 12.1.2 for the near future.
