To be honest with you - you have to start from the scratch and that is turntables and mixer just basics so you can learn rotations and groves you practice that then you move on to songs that match BPM beats per minute - But to be a true DJ you have to practice and try various forms of music- to be a electronic dj just buy the new pioneer system and it does it all for you-just put in the songs press a button - I am a old school dj so I am not particular found of the new style DJ its all illusion the computer within the system does all the work- and the one thing you first must do is go look up Grandmaster FLash
