I'm wondering if there's a way to export my cue point info from vdj into rekordbox so that i don't have to set all my cues over again to make a cdj ready thumb drive for festivals.

I don't think there's a way to do this at this present time. There is a program called Rekord buddy which allows users to transfer cue points and other track information between different dj softwares but unfortunately it doesn't support VDJ.

I don't think so, but it may work the other way around.
VDJ is able to read track info from other brands of software like Serato, but the other brands of software can't do this (yet)

not much incentive for VDJ to export to rekordbox.
maybe ask at the rekordbox forums about them importing VDJ stuff?
