codec WMV3. This video shows the wrong color when using DXVA but has normal color when not using DXVA. The color is wrong all the way thru and it is very apparent when playing the video.

Ok... Assuming you had DXVA on? If it is off it will play fine for me...
Sh.t happens and a good video to have on hand since it does not play well for me... this is not all that unusual but there is a problem with it somewhere related to DXVA being on. I have another one that does not play right either but the others I have with same codec play fine with DXVA on. They all play well here when DXVA is off.
It looks like this when DXVA is on for me. It is blueish thruout and surface of table is all green. You you see that as the cue ball rolls thru the table changing some of the blueish colors to the proper color.
With DXVA off it looks like this which is correct:
If the devs cannot reproduce it then they can ask me to look into it more.

Just tried in VLC with DXVA on and get same wrong results. I will look into it more when I have the time.

If i remember well, VLC uses FFmpeg library.

You can enable DXVA2 for ffmpeg but the last time I looked at the code for VLC, it seemed they were using a mixed bag of things. Anyway DXVA2 is option in VLC.
