Hi guys!

Somebody please tell me that Virtual DJ is compatible with my brand new Electrix Tweaker controller. Lie to me if you have to.. ;)

I have a handful of MIDI software to use with the Tweaker but I specifically bought it for Virtual DJ. But I don't see Tweaker in the list of controllers in the Per Controller License section. Does this mean I'll have to buy either an Infinity or a Subscriber license?

Does a mapping for Tweaker even exist? These links says it does.

Hope to hear from you soon.

You'll have to buy something to use VDJ with any controller - but hold that thought...

Well, it's not natively supported, because it's not on the list of supported controllers:
http://virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ8%20Controllers.html

I also can't find a temp or test or any other mapping in the add-on section for it
So probably not - although someone may have made it for themselves

But you could try making one yourself
You can do this before you buy a VDJ license, as it will run for a 10 min test period without a license
Here is info on how to get started - and I'm sure you can get help on this forum:

This Mixxx mapper with midi codes may also help you get started:

Yeah, the Tweaker never really caught on. It was quite expensive - more so than other similar products.

So although Arkaei mentioned a VDJ mapping, that would have been at a trade show pre-release - and if very few people bought it, then Electrix probably just didn't bother making a mapping (or sending one for Atomix to map).

I liked it, but was put off by the price.

I love my Tweaker and I love VDJ! I don't know why there are peeps at twitter putting down VDJ..

I actually got a good price for my Tweaker at Amazon
$138
$15 shipping to Tokyo
$12 import fee
$166 total

after I placed my order, I kept checking Japan prices and found $550+ at Amazon Japan, WTF!

klausmogensenThanks for the tips! Any good news on getting a license for my beloved Tweaker? I really want just a per controller license. The reason I chose the Tweaker is the hybrid turntablist/controllerist layout and it’s compact, and my goal was to assemble an ultra compact DJ rig. Sadly, I don’t see any compact hybrid controllers in the list but the Numark DJControl Compact is starting to look doable in size and price.Turntablism/controllerism is my calling, is there any chance VDJ will ever expand towards hybrid controllers? Livid controllers looks amazing for VDJing. Just throwing it out there as a request. Thanks for the immediate response

Sweet deal thanks.. nice to see Tweaker lit up like a christmas tree:)

I've been spinning with vinyl since the 80's (ya, that old) and started just last year with Mixxx as my first DJ software and getting by with it ever since…. until I found VDJ and VJ feature! <3<3<3
Can I use this mapping in VDJ? I can't check atm cos I don't have VDJ installed in this side of my hackintosh
