How can I customize the lenght of the video transition ? - how long it takes to changes between video1 to video2

It's normally linked to the crossfader, and whether you move it manually or automatic.

I have been using it manually (linked to crossfader) for many years, but now I want to press the Video Trans button and it will go from one deck to another. The thing Im trying to is that, it transition to fast between the decks (1-2 sec). I want to have longer and smoother transition (4-5 sec)

Try mapping:
video_transition 5000ms
Note that it only works when video output is enabled
Also note that the audio crossfader doesn't follow. So it only handles the video transition.
Audio will stay where it is, and may still output audio from the other deck or both decks at the same time
So if you want to have audio follow along, you should link them, and then handle both using the audio crossfader settings and script options like
auto_crossfade 5000ms
