been using my mac to record and play videos
but i have not recorded in a wile
i update my virtual dj every time it ask
i try to record MP4 but it restart my virtual dj 8
once i press record.
i am using OSX version 10.9.5
processor 2.7 intel core i5
memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB
don't know if my virtual dj is too updated for my computer
or am i doing something wrong
always record without problems

Iself have no Mac and have since begin not record a MP4 ,
but you can look in the Manual for MP4 Recording,eventually you have wrong parameter for recording set.

I have the same problem witb the MP4 recording on my Macbook. Plus when recording with WEBM format, my logo keeps resizing.

I just worked with VirtualDJ support for many days on this. We discovered that you have to go into Settings -> Options -> Video and disable videoUseDXVA. MP4s seem to record for me again.
