After trying what Phantom mention here

I figured, that the action will work on one laptop, but not on the other. So I started to search for the difference.
I decided to bring them both as close as possible, so I deleted both settings.xml and made sure it is the same build and default skin.
But after starting over with default settings and only "browserSearchByFirstLetter" set to yes, I won't work on both laptops now.
After restoring my actual settings.xml on the first PC it starts working again. So the question is: Is there any other setting that needs to be changed to make this feature work?

some time I miss tapping on my Browser bar and It don't work,may I need map a key 1st so it will know when to do it without tapping on the bar like my I do when I do a music search.
