I have a jogwheel with a simple script of : param_bigger 0 ? crossfader +2 : crossfrader -2
I want to hold down a button which will change the jog wheel to eq_low, as well a button to change it to eq_mid and high.
I know by now I should be able to nail this by now but I’ve tried var “$[name]” in countless different ways and I’m getting now where.
Any help would be appreciated, and you never know one of these days I might even get to level 2 on my scripting skills.

rough glance,
button
set '$yourVar' 1 while_pressed
wheel
var '$yourVar' 1 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_low +1% : eq_low -1% : param_bigger 0 ? crossfader +2 : crossfrader -2
*edit* btw, if you know jogs need param_bigger to work, you're level 2 already.

Thanks locco, I take it the below looks viable?
var '$yourVar' 1 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_low +1% : eq_low -1% : var '$yourVar' 2 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_mid +1% : eq_low -1% : var '$yourVar' 3 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_low +1% : eq_low -1% : param_bigger 0 ? crossfader +2 : crossfrader -2
I’ll try tomorrow, many thanks.

looks like you get the idea, looks like you rushed the script though
var '$yourVar' 1 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_low +1% : eq_low -1% : var '$yourVar' 2 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_mid +1% : eq_mid -1% : var '$yourVar' 3 ? param_bigger 0 ? eq_high +1% : eq_high -1% : param_bigger 0 ? crossfader +2 : crossfader -2

Read the help for padfx carefully.
The correct syntax is:
padfx 'ECHO' 0.4 0.5 0 0.1 'TRAIL:on' smart_temporary
The correct syntax is:
padfx 'ECHO' 0.4 0.5 0 0.1 'TRAIL:on' smart_temporary

Then it does not work alike Rokordbox pad nr.8 . My endeavor is imitate pads effects from origo PIONEER .
