Hi,
Has the video transition behaviour changed with VDJ2020?
With 8.3 I used a 4 deck view and decks 3 and 4 were for Karaoke.
I would have the next 2 singers cued to the "title" of the karaoke song, and the first song was sent to the big screen.
Once the singer had sung the first song, I would play music from decks 1 & 2 and press Transition to fade to the "title" of the next karaoke song to be sung - thus sending the new "title" to the big screen.
However, with the new 2020 version this does not seem to work, (PRO 4 deck)
It now does not let me transition to a stopped deck.
Am I missing a setting? or is this intentional behaviour?
It *does* sometimes seem to work in essentials view.
It also works in 2020 if I switch back to the OLD skin which suggests it may be a skin issue.

In other words, when I have it set to manual, surely it should just act as a button, and transition every time I press it, whenever that may be...

You are right, and it was and it's the same with 6 decks layout with old skins
This is working in performance skin 4 decks layout with vertical waveforms
in both cases it is working well only when the skin have 4 decks fully visible

I am pleased to report this is now solved, and it appears there are no bugs!
In manual transition mode simply click on the video preview window and NOT the transition button, to transition whenever you want 😊
Obvious, but it had me scratching my head!
