Is there a way to import my music collection by filename instead of tags? I have spent countless hours working on filenames but have not tagged my collection. Thanks!

I suggest you to use a program that write the Tag on music file, parsed from file name (or from on line music tag search).

there is a parse file names option just enable it, if it is not in options.

VDJ will automatically add your music to the DB when you select the drive and folder in the left column. (unless you have changed your settings). If your metatags are empty, just right click on the header line in the browser and select file name. You can deselect the fields you are not interested in seeing. However, if your file names are consistent, a tag editor will populate the metatags from the file name.

Thank you for the help! Looks like I will try a couple tagging programs and find one I like that will allow me to tag all my music based off filenames.
