Topic: Can't Delete these files
I'm trying to delete several files from the database. I recently have been purging my music collection. I do all of my tag editing inside of VDJ and have deleted several hundred files recently but these 9 file just will not disappear.

Its driving me crazy. I tried everything that I know. I removed from DB, I put the song back in and tried to delete them again with no luck they are just always there. I have deleted other songs since and those have disappeared like normal.

All these files appear as not present - red cross on type icon
All to do is to clear database entries:

Browser Options -> Database -> Remove missing files from search DB
 
I did that all it did was get rid of the red thing

I am really stumped

check your virtual folders ...

i had a similar issue fix the folders and the files are fixed
 
That was it they were in virtual folders. I never knew that. The help is appreciated.
 
Browser Options -> Database -> Remove missing files from search DB....it would be a good idea to make this include the virtual folders as well.
 
And would be fine if virtual folders would show missing files as missing, the playlists do

Hi did you fix this and how as I am having the same problem
 
I went into the history m3u files and edited out all the files that were no longer in my database. I went one by one and removed them manually. Took a while but it worked. I also had some that were just in regular playlist that if I deleted the files they would show up as missing. Just removed the from the playlists when you see them. On windows computer you can edit then using notepad. Hope this helps
