Hi VDJ Team,

i recently bought a DDJ-1000 SRT, as we most of the times play B2B I found a bug in the Mapping

The input switches of CH1 and CH3 mute the wrong channel when switching from Input USB A to line.

I've tried now nearly all types of possibile settings.
It seems that the input switch on CH3 (left channel) mutes CH3 + CH1.

Now i've deleted all commands in related to those commands "SOURCE_USBA" "SOURCE_LINE" "SOURCE_USBB" and now it works.
Seems to be an issue with the factory mapping in VDJ on the DDJ-1000 SRT

Can anyone here confirm the bug I mentioned?
Can this be solved with a further update?

Last weekend we recognized that this issue is also for the channel EQ, so I deleted the channel EQ mappings. As the DDJ-1000 SRT has hardware EQ its working fine.
Please keep me up to date when this issue will be fixed.

Can any other user confirm my issue?

Removing the SOURCE keys created a bigger issue than the one you were trying to solve.

Anyway, a fix will provided soon (most likely with next software update)

After investigating further your issue we could not find any issue with the mapper and muting in both USB ports.

However, there is a catch:
Both programs attached to 1000SRT must use the same mixer order.
If one computer uses 1234 and the other uses 3124 problems do arise.

VirtualDJ is capable to use mixer order 1234 without issues on 1000SRT. However we are not sure if Serato can do so as well.
Therefore when you play back to back with another person, please ensure you're using the default mixer order 3124 if the other person is using Serato.
If you both use VirtualDJ please ensure you both use the same mixer order.

PS: The EQ issue was found and will be fixed in next software update

Please let us know if that information was helpful and solved your issue, or if we need to investigate further

Hi, recently there was an update to BUILD 5630 (2020-04-03), but there was no fix in the changelog.
Is it already fixed or do I have to wait for it?
Best regard, Jan

Minor controller mapping updates don't appear on Changelog.
However the answer to your question is that yes, current update includes all fixes we have made (mainly the EQ issue)

Guys, sorry... this issue isn't solved jet.
It's still a mess, gain, audio channels and channel switches are totally disorderd (a huge mess).

I got a bit deeper into setting caused by another issue (new topic)
Can't figure out how to assign the channels correctly in the way they should - 3, 1, 2, 4

Currently I'm running V8.5-64 b6017.
Is there any way I could help you with this issue?
Please let me know if i can help!

On the mapping page, the dropdown box that says Deck: should have a selection of choices.

There's also a settings option called mixerOrder.

ok, here are my actual settings:

The Channel assignment, faders, deck assignment is correct.
But this is what I actual controll with exaclty those settings shown above in the gain and input section

Yes, if you've got the Deck: dropdown box set to 1234 you will get 1234 on the mixer.

If you want 3124 you have to change the Deck: setting or the mixerOrder setting.

Just open VirtualDJ settings and search for mixerorder
Set it to 3124 (or any other setting you like)
This setting is what dictates the order of the mixer.

DO NOT use deck assignment menu on mappers tab to change "order" as it will brake deck commands

So what's the point of the Deck: menu and the options there, if you're not supposed to use it?

You are supposed to use it, but for other tasks.

The deck assignment there has an effect on ALL elements, not just mixer.
So, if you change 1234 to lets say 3412, you are effectively swapping all the decks:
Deck 1 play button becomes deck 3 play button. Deck 2 jog becomes deck 4 jog, e.t.c.
Also the deck assignment menu there is useful in order to swift a controller to use higher number of decks so that you can use 2 or more controllers to control more decks.

So, if you want to change ALL deck components order you use the deck assignment menu
If you want to change ONLY the mixer, you use the mixerOrder setting
