Hi. I am setting up Virtual DJ 2021 on new computer for home kareoke. I am using the audio port or jack (for the headphones). Master is set as Computer Sound Card-Speakers, channels 1 and 2. I have no other sound card. However, the music does not sound right, missing part of it, sound subdued.
I used the same connection with VDj 7 and 8 with no issues. Audio sound comes out right when listening to Utube.

1) Go to the VDJ wiki page
2) Select "Download Previous Builds"

Wow, this virtualDJ 2021 is so cool, i love it, everything is working normal as usual both the stems and other features. I think this is a best version of virtualDJ 8 ever.

Im a pro user, i uninstalled 2020 and have tried 20+ times to install 2021 i get the error message " The specified account already exists" i went as far as purchasing a second licence with the same results, i have a 64bit laptop. if this cant be resolved before my next gig 2 days from now i will cancel both licenses, i have a business to run.. i havent had any issues untill now. awesome software but damn!

Another user had the issue about specified account. Its a Windows issue. They fixed it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed

I have a Windows 10 64bit Laptop and a Windows 8.1 64bit Laptop. Can VDJ 2021 run on my Windows 8.1 PC?
Also, my Windows 10 64bit laptop still shows the previous build. Was VDJ 2021 [with the STEMS feature] an automatic upgrade, or do you have to download it and install it over your previous version? I really don't want to do this cause last year I got an upgrade from VDJ 8 to VDJ 2020 and ALL OF MY FILTERS, AND COLOR CODED FILES defaulted back to the original setup.
I did download VDJ 2021, but I am afraid to install it due to the concerns above.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

If by "it" you're referring to VDJ 2021, it requires Windows 10.

why does it say "it is supported on windows 7,8and 10 yet it is only supported on windows 10

The VirtualDJ software will run on older outdated operating systems, but VDJ 2021 (the latest 64 bit version with stems technology) requires Windows 10.

I just installed VDJ 2021 on my Windows 8.1 (64bit) System and it's working. I don't understand why anywhere is said, that Windows 10 is required? It's just not true.
I needed downloaded it directly, because my Browser only lead to the older VDJ Version, so this is the direct Link to the 64bit Version:

The Stem feature initially didn't work , but after downloading the 2 core DLL's:
http://download.virtualdj.com/cud101.dll & http://download.virtualdj.com/cuf101.dll
and copy them into the C:\Users\...\Documents\VirtualDJ\Plugins64
All running on an old System with AMD Athlon II X4 640 CPU + NVIDIA 1060OC GPU, that is also detected and used by the Math System for the Stems.
I just notice that the stem calculation for a 7~ Minutes Track, still take like aprox. 3-4 Seconds, but it's fully working so far, without Windows 10 !
