I just noticed this on a track that has solo bass near the beginning. There's no waveform showing for that particular section when viewing the 'shapes' waveform. Other rhythmwave options show the audio at that point, but 'shapes' doesn't.
Here's a compiled image showing all three waveforms (top to bottom - beats, shapes x 2, colors):
As you can see, beats and colors clearly show that there's audio on that centre section. Shapes shows either nothing, or a very small blob.
Red seems to show more than blue for some reason, but still hardly visible.
Track is Burnin' Love by Con Funk Shun. Ditto at the start of I Need Your Lovin' by Teena Marie.

I think this is why they have the new experimentalWaveColors option in build 6059

I have it switched on already. It doesn't affect the shapes view anyway, only the beats view.

Tested with some bass samples as well specially "DJUCED Ethnic120 Bass3"

and more strange display is only part of wave area in shape mode when duration less 30s
load and shows the whole track, then creates shape and display totally shrinked
