VirtualDJ - Serious lag when loading tracks

I have been using VDJ for over 10 years and this is the first time I have seen an issue like this.
Basically , when ever I load a new track , it takes a couple of seconds before the track is fully loaded. When this happens the rest of VDJ sort of hangs and the wave storms are almost in a sort of frozen state.

I have checked the hard drive of my laptop and this is fine. I am running version 8.5.b6156

This is particularly annoying when streaming as the screen just stutters anytime I load a new track. This bug/issue also happens when I am not streaming.

Did you check if it is related to stems processing?
Try to set mathEngine to disabled to see if it is.
And if it is, depending on your computer, there are some options that can help if you do want to use stems, namely
mathEnginePriority, mathEngineShareGPU and useLowPowerGPU

It maybe related to stems
if settings -> performance -> mathEngine is set to CPU
try to disable it by setting mathEngine to disabled
(do not set to GPU if not already)

you can update to new ea version
it implements some CPU usage limiter
settings -> performance -> mathEnginePriority

Guys,

So I have set the Maths to disabled and I think this may help. I will give it a test later and see. Fingers crossed this may be it.
I don't really use Stems yet anyway
