The sequence is this:
the output is distorted
I try to load a track and the program freezes, then disappears from the screen.
I can then reboot, reload another track and begin playing again as if nothing as happened, and the progrm even saves my settings (mic fx: eq, compression)
Of note- I run VDJ in Performance Mode with mixer, I broadcast at 128k, I only play mp3's of excellent quality.
New last year PC with 32 GB ram, 16 TB storage (plenty), i7/8700 processing chip, wired connection to internet 450 Mbps. I run Malwarebytes in the background.
When broadcasting, I never run other programs except two word documents.
Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions as to how to avoid? It has happened 3 times.
