In order to be able to use VDJ on a humble macBook Air, I have set the following
mathEngine = Disabled
precomputeStems = Create manually
My expectation is that when I load a song, VDJ should NOT scan it for the stems separation, and that does seem to be the case. However, when I load a song, the waveform loads VERY slowly. It takes over 1.5 mins to load a waveform for a 4.5 minute song.
Mind you, if i hit play as soon as i load the song or manually jump to any location in the song, the song plays without any glitches even if the waveform isn't fully loaded. But if the waveform doesn't load, sometime I can''t know what location to jump to! The songs that i'm trying to load are already added to the VDJ database and pre-scanned for key, bpm etc, so i'm really not sure what is taking so long to load. My macbook runs fine otherwise, and everything else in VDJ also works as usual, so I dont think its an issue with my laptop.
How do I get VDJ to rapidly load the song as it always used to? What am I missing?

Perhaps you changed songLoadPriority to Idle?
