little hard to say without any info.. .
Like when is it freezing, using what features and anything that could give you a clue to reason?
If the computer is very low end, you could try set mathEngine to disabled in settings.
But might not be that, just a guessing game without some clues ;-)

Where do you have your music stored?
Do you have it stored on an external hard drive or do you have it stored just on your computer? It needs to be stored on an external hard drive.

Depending on what you meant by that, if its dropouts/distortions/clicks/pops that might just be the audio buffer running out.. Set higher buffer (latency) either directly on driver (if asio) or in VirtualDJ settings, look for latency. Set asio or vdj to 256 or 512.. that should be plenty for most computers
