I am looking to find a way of (re)mapping some controls on my AKAI MPD232. I have an NS6ii as the main deck controller.
I assign the sampler to deck 4 and can utilise the deck FX on the sampler along with EQ and filter pots.
The sampler section has the option to show an FX bar with a pair of controls just above the pads.
What I would like to do are the following:
1. Map an encoder to the sampler FX selection (e.g. encoder [4] this choosing what FX you want)
2. Use one of the buttons (re-map) an existing one to toggle the sampler FX on or off
3. Assign/map two more encoders to control the FX rotary parameters.
The outcome of this is to allow 2 persons controlling a performance with person A on the decks and person B using the AKAI to control samples and select/activate FX independently.
I've been unable to isolate the necessary VDJ script verbiage, is there anyone who can assist with this?
