Topic: Denon Prime 4 and Virtual DJ 8.5-64 b6747
Hi Guys,

Looking for a little assistance. I have just got my prime 4 today and hooked it up to VDJ. All seemed to link ok, I wasn't running any masteroutput as don't have any spare speakers so was just running cue through headphones. When I play any track there is huge distortion coming through, I have also posted on the FB group and was advised to try turn the headphone gain down and also the zerodb setting which I did bu it made no diffrence.

To eliminate the prime 4 I set it up in standalone mode and the headphones worked perfectly so must be something going on inside VDJ. Can anyone help with this please as Im at a total loss.

PC Specs

Windows 10 Pro
AMD 3900X 12 core Processor
16 GB Dual Chan RAM
2TB Internal Nvme
1TB External SSD (This holds my music collection)
Windows Defender Only - No other antivirus
No bloatware, absolutly clean install

PS - All windows drivers, asio drivers and prime firmeware are up to date

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks John

With the Prime 4 connected to USB and set to Computer mode , go to Windows Sound, try to set your computer's built in sound card as default Playback device, then start VDJ again and see if any better.
