Topic: How does the accuracy of the frame rate of jog change when changing the JogSensitivityScratch.
GhuiTHome userMember since 2022
If the frequency of my wheel is 1000 per revolution. JogSensitivityScratch value is 1 = 1000 framerate of jog.
When will change the sensor = 0.8, then will there be extra recalculations?

Will the program additionally recalculate the signal, do transformations?
Or is it all the same algorithm without extra calculations?

If you turn on the controller with 500 frame rate of jog. And then turn on the controller with 1000 frame rate of jog.
Same JogSensitivityScratch value is 1.

Does this mean that when turning the wheel from 9 to 12, the signal in VDJ moves the same distance? Or controller with 1000-fr turns signal 2 times more?

The sensitivity setting doesn't change what the controller sends.
But if the sensitivity is set to 0.5, then you will need to move the jog twice the distance for the same distance in the song. So technically it does mean that you can make more accurate movements, but since you also need to move the jog more there's probably a limit before you can't do fast scratches anymore.

If I set 1, does it mean that the signal will match the exact setting of VDJ.
And when changing, will an additional signal conversion be added inside VDJ? does it make additional calculations inside the program.

There's no extra calculations, the jog wheel will just move the song faster or slower relative to the movement you make.
