DJ' ing for couple dancer. I play the full song , then i have about 1 or 2 Seconds of silence to give the dancer the chance to thank each other for the dance an decide wether they have another dance or not. So it would be great to have in the Options -Automix- Skiplenghts the possibility to put negativ values to create a silence between the songs. Actually you can fill in only positiv values for fading.

I've never thought of that :D
I knew about the 2 sec gap option in the dropdown, but had never checked how that registered in the settings, and if it could be changed it further
Good stuff!

Nice …
Though I would prefer a dedicated setting or a different control label if selection is "None (back to back)".
No-one can remember this peculiar feature a few months later.

Set
fadeLength = -2.0… Didn't work. Songs were played without pause, one after the other.

OK, here's a hint to the solution: You must select one of the Fade Automix modes.
Only then, fadeLength is being considered. The GUI then adds a dedicated Fade Length sub menu to the Automix menu. And this sub menu even comes with a preset value of "-2", aka "2s gap":
