I'm currently running ShowXpress on a second tablet when playing out with my PA and lighting. Having spent many hours programming I am happy with my results. However, I still need to interact with the software to change and trigger different feels when djing.
Along comes MaestroDMX which, it appears, is an AI sound to light DMX controller. On the surface it looks amazing, once you have setup the fixtures and other parameters, as it 'runs' it's own lightshow responding in real-time to an audio feed.
Does anyone run MaestroDMX? Is it as good as they say? Is it worth the investment?
Thank you for your comments!

Only seen it advertised like you. It sounds cool in theory. I tried Soundswitch a few years ago, which kind of does what Maestro does (except we manually instruct SS to script). I found it cool at first, but it cause wayyyyyy to much strobing for my liking. Also, the design in which you don't really have individual DMX sliders in the program, makes SS difficult to use with certain fixtures.
I can only imagine that Maestro has even less user input so it makes me apprehensive to invest that much in it. I hope it's awesome, competition and advancement is good.
I've ended up buying a Wolfmix mk1 and I think its going to be a really cool solution (but only if you like to do some switching/editing DURING your performance)
