Im trying to get the dmx pad option to work in vdj with soundswitch.
I have read something regarding ‘ creating virtual device’ but unable to make sense of it
Soundswitch working fine with vdj (just not preset dmx pads page in vdj)
Any help much appreciated

dmx padpage is os2l, you don't need a virtualDevice.
A virtualDevice is when you want to send midi out of vdj to another program,
SoundSwitch only half implemented os2l support, so some users choose to go the midi route. but os2l_buttons work fine.

Thank you locodog.
I have emailed SS support.
The dmx pads buttons do not activate anything within SS. I have checked all obvious updates/settings etc.
In meantime is there anything else yoi can advise?

do you have os2l turned on in vdj settings? do have you named os2l buttons that marry up with the pad button names programmed in soundswitch?

Yes os2l setting is on -
2nd question im not sure- im assuming you mean i have to manually map in vdj i.e (blackout to blackout) etc? In which case if you could give me an example how to map say blackout in vdj i could probably work out other commands to match
