After updating to early release Build 8079 I noticed a folder titled New on my desktop. I looked into it, and it seems to be a backup to my Virtual DJ database. I really do not need this folder on my desktop as I back up all of virtual DJ on a separate drive. Can I just delete this folder without dire consequences?

Perhaps you set the backupLocation in options to your desktop?

I do not recall doing that. However, I checked my VDJ folder and Backup was empty. So I just cut and pasted the contents of the "New" folder there. I will check to see if the Backup is directed to the desktop. Thanks for your help.

I checked and you were right Adion. I changed the destination file back to where it should go, and everything is back to normal. I did not change this destination to desktop myself. Another mystery!
