Trying to help a friend out who's been having issues with VDJ2024 and his FLX10.
Looking at his systemreport_session from that night (backed up and versioned by OneDrive).
This is the only thing that stands out as a potential issue:

Around 23:13 the track skipped, and this is when the audio CPU appears to peak.
Is this the FLX10 audio processor?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can add the whole system report if needed.
Cheers,
Roy

What is the latency set to?
Inviato Sat 31 Aug 24 @ 10:32 am
Standard 256ms
That was the next thing we were going to try.
Thing is he's had the controller and laptop for over and year, and it's worked flawlessly until recently.
Laptop isnt used for anything other than DJing.
No bloatware etc.
Just VDJ and FLX drivers.

I did a gig last night with the FLX-10 and had popping too. I noticed it earlier in the week when practicing for the set and changed the latency from 256 to 512 but it still happened.
Not happening too frequently but I can definitely hear it.
I had the gig recorded so can clearly hear it when playing back.
Don't recall it happening when I got the controller, it's just been recently.

Hey Keith,
Thanks for that. Any idea how recently?
My mate is saying since June. Nothing obvious in the changelog for builds 8184/8225's but something to think about/consider.

Not sure, I've not used that controller much as I still use the MCX8000 for most gigs so they may have been there previously and I just never noticed.
I would think that these pops etc are more to do with Windows and the Pioneer driver rather than VDJ although that machine is on Windows 10 and has has updates blocked for the past 6 months or so.
I will investigate further in the next few days.

happening to me too, I have the Denon Prime 4 and use stems a lot, latency is set to similar to what everyone has it as, I use the M3 MacBook so don't think its an issue there. Interestingly I had to DJ off the laptop and used channel 4 of my mixer to DJ without the controller (sound coming from the headphone jack to channel 4 via RCA cable) and it worked absolutely fine! Definately some sort of issue when using the denon to control music...I have a backup laptop if it happens again but rather not want to move to another software
