in the past i believe i was able to press and hold the grid adjust/slide button and use the side of the platter (pitch bend) to freely move the grid if it was misaligned. Now when i try that it just jumps the grid every 4 beats. I can't seem to find the right mappings to correct this.
I'm looking to midi map the buttons to get my desired behavior.
press and hold the grid adjust button
move the side platter - pitch bend
freely move the grid where i see fit

sounds like quantize may be effecting it. you might switch that off and see if it helps

I agree that's what it sounds like but quantize buttons are off on each deck.

the solution to this was the beat grid adjust only when the track is playing, which i find slightly harder that stopped, but it works. I don't know if this is the desired behavior
