Compared to AKAI's Flex Beat VST, I'm finding Scratch_DNA to sound not like real world turntable scratches but stutter/gate effects or Acid/Ableton style stutters.
Flex Beat's turntablist presets are dope and you can draw your own presets.
Tested on vocal phrases, beats etc I wish VDJ would match a way to draw out say a TTM (Turntable Transcription Methodology) scratch and include softer bezier curves not just sharp linear lines. No one scratches linearly like robots.
In flex beat, "effect_slider 1" affects changing presets quick so its playing well with VDJ. 2nd effect slider affects Mix Volume so its cool mapped to a knob. Only other VST plugin that can match this versatility is Gross Beat VST from ImageLine.
