Hi
I know this subject has had a bit of coverage but has anyone managed to buy a new laptop that runs flawlessly with audio? I'm a Serato user but also use VDJ and have purchased and returned 4 high spec laptops that just won't run without glitches, drop outs, pops, crackles etc.. I have tried the tweeks that other forums recommend for DPC Latency issues but having to do all this with brand new laptop seems crazy! My 13 year old PC Specialist machine runs flawlessly even using real time stems is smooth. What laptops do people recommend, no the usual "get a Mac" reply as according to these other forums they have also had latency issues. Plus I'm windows I don't like Mac.
Any advice would be amazing
Cheers Ant

I would like to know what brand and models you have tried and returned first?
As I understand it is that the graphic card need to be good as a lot of GB ram, and think the newer serie the better it will be for the stems.
I use an old Asus and still works, and I would go for same brand again when its time.

It seems to be the power saving Intel mid range 13th & 14th gen processors that are the main issue.
