I have a few tracks that I want to shorten, I have tried the track cleaner but not had any joy. Is there an easier way to trim tracks, cheers Alf

Use a DAW instead to do that.

You could use the POI editor. For instance when bar 5 arrives, add a POI that skips to bar 17 (etc). Might be preferable to using a DAW as it's not permanent.
Also VDJ has "remix points"
