I used to be tech savvy, but now I’m old. I’ve been using VDJ since Atomix days (so late 90’s? early 00’s?)
I have some gigs coming up and I figured I want the extra control of a DDJ (instead of just clicking a laptop)
What are some recommended DDJ consoles that work well with Virtual DJ? I don’t mind bias recommendations.
Also, all budgets considered.
Here are some bullet points of what I need:
I use 4 decks, so ideally a DDJ that makes use of 4 channels (either directly, or with easy selecting)
Fuss-free headphone routing.
Excellent reliability.
Clean, responsive, lag-free sliders and buttons (I have a Developmental disorder that makes me clumsy, so the last thing I need is slow/loose/stiff fidgety controls)
Manual access to eq pots, and eq filter.
I don’t need:
Scratching disks,
FX buttons or grids,

Surely the best thing to do would be to look at the Pioneer website to compare consoles and look at them to decide the features you need.
Personally I use the FLX10 and it's great.

I mean, I could do that if Pioneer are decent?
Is it the general consensus that they’re good?

Oh wait a sec, I should clarify; I’m just using “DDJ “ as a catch-all for DJ controllers (of any make/model.)
