I’m trying to map STEMS off with an echo-out effect using VDJ scripting. I’ve attempted to write a few scripts, but I haven’t been able to get it working correctly so far.
My setup:
STEM groups: Vocal, Melody, Rhythm
Goal: when turning a stem off, it should echo out
Echo out preference: 40% wet, 1 beat
Could anyone point me in the right direction or share an example mapping/script that achieves this?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

There's already a pad for this which you can adjust yourself

call effect_stems on the stems you're going to cut, call echo out.
the other way is calling echo out to the stems slot.

var 'stemsnfx1' 1 ? toggle 'stemsnfx1' & mute_stem 'vocal' : off & toggle 'stemsnfx1' & effect_stems 'vocal' & padfx_single 'echo' 0.5 0.65 0.15 0.50 & wait 1bt & padfx 'echo' & mute_stem 'vocal' & effect_stems 'vocal'
