Topic: Sampler Pad Mapper script
HI All

I have a DDJ-XP2 with the VDJ mapper. I want to change one of the "Pad mode" buttons to the sampler. So when I click "Pad Mode 1" button the 16 pads now effect the sampler.

I have it working with the "Pad Mode Sampler" on deck 1 but I was hoping to keep the sampler independant of the decks so the DDJ-XP2 can control the sampler and I still have full use of Hot Cues, Stems etc on either decks.

Looks like the XP2 has pad mode buttons for each deck separately, so just selecting sampler on one deck shouldn't change to sampler on the other deck.

If you meant having different pad page on the xp2 than on the skin, you can use the padsSkinIndependent option.

Thanks for coming back to me. Apologies, maybe I didn't explain what I am trying to do.

Currently I am using: 
<map value="PADMODE_4" action="pad_page &apos;sampler&apos;" />

Which works to change the 16 pads to control the sampler pads. However, this then changes the pads panel on deck 1 of my Prime 4 to the sampler also. I want syntax so I can select the pad more 4 button on the XP2 to control the sampler without effecting the Prime 4 Pads. If that makes sense?
