The Goner
There is a song I've heard a few DJ's use. I've heard on 92.7 and 101.1 in chicago. It's a trancy/hard house type song, and the majority of the song there is a steel-drum type sound that repeats 3 notes and gets faster. I think a female voice says something about "silence" (no..not Mike Koglin's "Enjoy the Silence). If anyone has the slightest clue as to what I'm rambling about, post here or email harryhood@softhome.net

I believe I can help here. I think with some certainty that the trancy tune you are referring to is 'Taiko - Silence'.
It's a very funky tune and sounds just as you have described it. Hope this helps.
