It would be nice for atomixmp3 to also play .wavs. This way if you're djing, people can give you cds to play. I know atomixmp3 is an mp3 player, but it would still be nice to be able to play .wav files on it.

Is it a problem to ripp track from cd to mp3 during playing atomix? With good soft you can do it in a fiew seconds.

For rip in mp3 or wav the cds,you can use winamp!with "disk writer", for write in wav and chun yu shei mp3 to write in mp3...they are faster, and don'use a lot of memory or cpu...

Exact Audio Copy! it rules! and it gives the best quality!(vbr-files, way better than constant bitrated mp3 files ...)

If you run Atomix under Windows 98, check out Winamp plugin (but its works on its own though) CDA2WAV. This allows you to play CDs with Atomix. If you use Win NT or 2000, I don't think there is a way to achieve this.
