Nero your system should be fine but you can definately make some adjustments. It might be wise to invest in a new hard-drive since yours is full. Look for a 7200RPM model - the IBM or Maxtor drives are a solid choice. Next you should really get some more RAM, 64MB is really bare minimum. You should see a good preformace gain (and less hard-drive racket) if you bought a new 128MB stick, giving you a total of 192MB.

Personally I'm runnin a 700 Athlon
13 Gig drive (really full)
192 mgs RAM
SB Live Value

And I have problems some times... So I think you can never have to much power.. next upgrades.. Ram & HD.. but if your think it's the most important components personally.

Get 512Mb of SDRAM if your motherboard can take it. Then buy a Pentium 4 1300Mhz. Get a huge and very fast SCSI hard drive, add to this one of the latest and greatest sound cards. Yous should then have no problems whatsoever, if you do then i suggest buying a computer off NASA, and from my experience that is what you need to do in order to run atomix with no problems.

As to whether the Team need an ozzy bloke, well, I don't know or care.

Thanks for your great and anonymous suggestions. That´s what we need to make AtomixMP3 better.

For those users who understood the sense of a forum:

I run AtomixMP3 on a PIII@500 with 128MB RAM without any problems. Most problems depend on a system, full of trash, left by deinstalled software. Try to optimize your registry, clean your HDD, defrag it and deinstall all software you never used (that´s mostly enough ;-))!

But your RAM should be a bit more. 128, better 192, should be enough.

buy a PIII
it's better to play dvd and mostly DivX
for games it's quite the same
An other thing but this time is really a detail: PIII is much cooler than a AMD processor.

But u should buy 256SDram (very cheap for the time being)

note:I got a p3 800 with 256 ram, works great
U can overclock it at at least 866, but u can get higher
by increasing the voltage of the CPU(checkout the net for more info)
