I have had a problem whereas the whole machine would lock up intermittently.

Hi! I'm already using Automix v.2 under WinXP Pro and I don't encounter any problem at all. Are you using Pentium 4 1.7GHz with 256MB RDRAM, 60GB HD with 15GB free? This is my PC specs, maybe you just need to increase any RAM or available bytes to eliminate any lock ups.

There's no problem on a Duron950 256Ram on winXP pro !

I'm using V2 (2.1 is a load of tosh !) .
An IBM A22m laptop, 256mb of ram ,P3 1GHZ,30gig h/d.
And it runs ok thanks,,,,.
