Hello Atomix users,
Having no news from Daft Punk (not that I am a friend of theirs) but they are quite silent at the moment, I browsed a bit the internet to look for new infos.
There is a kind of debate in the the "Daft Fan" community about the commercial musical direction they have taken. As far as I am concerned, I find this idea of calling a record "commercial" quite stupid. My reasons:
1) every person who makes a record and tries to sell it is having a commercial behavior.
2) by definition a non commercial artist is someone who is composing music for himself and doesn't try to play it in public or does not try to sell records. I know a bunch of ... including me.
I'd love to know your point about that.
