Hi,
Does it make sense to pay for the full version of Atomix, considering that it seems unlikely to be updated now that Virtual DJ has come out?
I don't really want to pay a lot more for VDJ when I'm happy with Atomix... but if I did, would the registration cover all future updates, etc? Or will I need to pay more in future?

If you are using the product, and you are happy with it in it's current state... then you should indeed buy it. When you purchase a product you are buying it to fill an imediate need. If it fills that need the way it is, then buy it.
That's how I thought about it when I bought version 1.xx.
The fact that there have been several upgrades sine then to me is just a bonus.
I believe that the developers will continue to improve Atomix as needed. I also believe that these upgrades will be made available to registered users at no extra fee.
However, as I said... Don't buy it based on that. Buy it because you like it and you are enjoying using it the way it is.
PS: I am not on the development team, and I don't speak for them... I may be wrong. I'm just telling you what I believe.
