I rarely look at this list but I happened to look at it about an hour before Cyder posted this. My first thought was,.. "weird,.. how old is this thing". My second thought was,.. "damn, how do they collect this information". Seriously, where does it come from?

I'm not mad superstorm it's obviously a joke :), but it doesn't take away from the embarrasing list.
And yes I have most of the songs listed (for commercial gigs), but note this: most of the songs I play, are played at home and aren't listed, so my own personal chart would look a lot better ;).
Yea I have many Hed Kandi CD's :).
But some of those tracks are old, the drill, sandstorm, call on me etc.., looks pathetic, LOL.

Well, I'm a resident club DJ at one of my town largest nitescenes... and here is a few comments on the list.... from a profesional point of view (my personal taste set aside)
1 (+3) madonna - hung up Chart hit # 1 ... massive for dancefloor!
2 daddy yankee - gasolina still rocks the dancefloor, requested a lot!
3 (-2) the drill - the drill awesome house song... love it
4 (-1) cent - candy shop commercial, but still requested... hopefully it will drop soon
5 (+1) crazy frog - axel f GET IT OFF THE LIST - PLEASE! hehe

I agree with Norway, however "my personal taste set aside"?
Some nice songs some bad ones. I am probably (partly) responsible for te Darude song. Played it a couple of weeks ago. It was a request, but not a bad song at all (my opinion).
I will make a playlist with 8400 times the crazy frog in and let it run automatically in VDJ particularly for dj-in-norway!

well, the darude song is not that bad :) just a bit tired of it...hehe
But crazy frog is "hits for kids" :) lol... hate it! hehe
My major point was that club djs gotta entertain, play for the crowd, and the VDJ chart is not bad.. got some good, some ok, and some classics... :)
Worst that can happen is djs getting the usual "i-mastrubate-with-my-music-only-syndrome", and dont please the crowd.. Where the dj set his taste above the audience... not good ;)
That is at a commercial club :) Of course Tiesto can play trance all day and nite at a trance festival.. or DJ what-ever play underground house at a dedicated house club...
But most of us, will play at a commercial club... where we are entertainers, there to please and play for the crowd :) And looking at charts is a good tool for that... ;)
Even though we are probably all a bit tired of some of the songs, as djs... Or dislike a particular song, as a person :)
But having some standards are needed, of course... :) I would say "hell no" for a guest asking for Crazy frog...hehe... well, maybe not if she was a sexy blonde....but thats a different story ;) hehe

dj-in-norway, I aslo do not like the crazy frog. It is kids music. Never played it even when it was high in the charts. Even not for a sexy blonde... I was just for you while you are saying "just wait and see..", "Maybe in the next version" daily while we have to wait for weeks. Glad your not a driver of an ambulance...
