Can anyone tell me everything I need to use the timecoded vinyl with my DJ Console MK2? The set up I have now is the Virtual DJ software that came along with the DJ Console MK2, a direct drive turntable (haven't purchased the vinyl yet) and my computer. What else do I need? Do I have to purchase the upgraded software in addition to everything else I've purchased? And if so, what is the advantage pricewise with this solution opposed to just purchashing Rane Serato?

Unfortunately the software that comes boxed with consoles are the home edition versions thus limiting VDJ's full potential,

Other than that your will just need the vinyl's (look pocket wise at buying 4 vinyl's ! ) although they do last the saving you via shipping if u were to buy another 2 later would have paid for them itself .
and er.....correct me if I'm wrong you would also need a decient asio sound card.

As far as I know, the Hercules won't allow inputs and ASIO the way that VDJ needs for doing TCV. I think you'll need to do like I do with my xp10s, which is not use the built in soundcard and instead use an external soundcard that has enough inputs and outputs to do TCV and ASIO also.

So i'm guessing that my plan to buy some TTs and use the HDJC2 as the mixer and the input soundcard would fail then? :'o( I'm guessing it's back to the original plan of betting a maya44/delta44 and some tts and a mixer then?
