Dude remember to go with your gut when it comes to music selection. Here is what worked for me over 20
years ago. I read a book on basic Music Theory. Once you understand basic music structures mixing becomes quite simplistic, especially long blends. VDJ is quite fantastic when it come to house techno etc.
It does have some bpm flaws mapping old school dance music, which is why you will need the pro edition so you can preview the next song, line it up aurally. With house and techno I don't even need to preview with VDJ line it up beatmatch and start the blend. Of course knowing my library helps tremendously. First though study a little basic music theory I can almost guarantee it will make you a good mixer.
