Ideally, I would like to be able to go back to a cue point in real time and automatically loop for 4 or 8 (or whatever beats).
I know that I can Stop-Go To the Cue-Turn Loop on- and play.
However, I cannot do all these clicks white the track is playing. I want to be able to
jump and loop WHILE the track is playing.
Has anyone figured this out ?

You can assign more than one function to the same key, meaning make for example ctrl+1 the "goto cue1", and add another function also with ctrl+1 the "loop 4". You can think of any such combination for any function (or even more than one). With a plug-in that's been recently developped, you can also assign automatic functions to cues, look under the plug-in section for more info :)

Yes you can. I am using the Mix Station SU 04 skin. It has Play N Loop buttons on it. 2, 4, 6. 16, and 32 beat. It will take you back to the cue point and start the loop. I don't know about other skins.

I developped the plugin Cueloops too in the past. I think that it always works
