I'm brand new at this and I have a few questions
1) i read there is a download that you can take the lyrics off a song.....or vice versa...is this true? if so how can I get it?
2) i rap, and i have a studio mic through a usb interface, am I able to have this hooked up so I can talk and record it or no

1) search the forums with keyword "remove vocals", if you need a complete answer to the question "is it possiblle to take off 'lyrics' off a song" - it's been discussed a lot. There is a plug-in available for download, but you probably need "professional edition" status.
2) will be answerd by someone who uses microphone with VDj. I don't.
