can someone instruct me on how to to rip cdg's into my laptop? I am really interested in purchasing this program, but before i do i want to make sure everything works!! any help would be great! being new to the virtual world, i am very sckeptical!!

You need a CD-ROM drive capable of reading CDG - The plextor ones seem to be the best.
You then need a bit of software to convert them to mp3+cdg, there are peices of software available to do this.

first of all you have to check if your cd-dvd rom is able to read cdg, then download a program called CDG RIPPER is very easy to use and it converts your karaoke files into cdg+mp3 , cdg+wav ,bin etc , directly into the folder you assign , after doing so, add the 2 files (cdg + mp3 or wav) into a zip file and that's all, then open VDJ, add the zip extension and then VDJ is able to read it.
