A new problem has just popped up using TC inVDJ.
When I load a song into the left deck it analyses the song and then the start point jump to about 50 seconds befor the end. Each time I reset the song to the begining it jumps back to that same spot. I have to turn off TC and start the song with my mouse and it plays fine. When I load the next song into the left deck it sets up fine using TC. It seems to be random. I thought my TC disc was scratched or my CDJ-1000 was defective but I swapped both the disc & player but the problem still occurred on the left deck. It happenned about 4 different times in a 7 hour span at random times & songs last night. Has anyone experienced this before? It has happenned on several other nights in the last week.

I had the same thing, or at least a similar thing with my CD players. I think it was becuse the CD player can save a cue point for the timecode CD so if you set a cue or stop a track at the end one time, it sets a cue point and because the CD stays in it is always there. Something like that anyway. Probably need to study carefully the manual for your CD players. I fouand that if I ejected the disc and put it in again it was OK.
Someone else will probably explain better than me, I'm sure. I think TCCD might work better on very basic CD players.
I've just moved over to a DAC-3 and it's absoluitely fantastic with absolutely instant play. works great.
Planning to team that up with Time code Vinyl when I get some new decks.

No, that's not the problem...
I've been using those decks for 4 years, know them inside/out. Like I said I swapped the decks and also unplugged them(power cord) to reset completely.
Up until now the CDJs worked flawlessly with VDJ. I am going to try reinstall the program. It may have corrupted during a previous crash or something.

Regarding your problem, have you checked in the TC configuration that you don't have the left deck set differently from the right? E.g. one set to Smart and the other to Relative? Personally I prefer Absolute.
