im working on a outdoor skin im thinking a black and white skin..as of now the mouse cursor can't be changed though but im sure that i can make the entire skin a little bit easier on the eyes..ive dont plenty of block parties this year and even with my "sunlight visible lcd" it's difficult

Don't know if this will work, but its worth a try. Change your windows color scheme to one of the high contrast settings on the appearance tab.

Also, there is an option in some versions of windows whereby if you hit the <CNTRL> key, it will trigger a 'bullseye' type of effect which will locate your mouse for you. This helps when you just can't see the pointer well enough to know where it is sitting. Also helps in those very rare instances where VDJ or Windows hides your pointer until you click another button in the interface.
