I am going to be getting the Denon 3500 and another CDDJ unit of some other brand. Do you all think it would be tacky to have two different CDDJ units?

Yes, but that is just my opinion. If I have 2 of anything, they match. Do you wear 2 different shoes? What is the reason for 2 different models?

You will also have an easier time finding a coffin with a matching system. Resale value as a pair is a consideration as well.

Of course the correct answer is buy whatever you want and whatever you feel will be best for you to DJ with. Ok that was the correct answer. Now for MY answer. This is a really silly thing to do. Buy the same CD player for the left and right. You'll thank me later.
