Hi all,
was playing around with the keyboard shortcuts today and i noticed that under the pitch shortcuts there is a "key-offset" option with instructions for how to make it change the pitch of a song without altering the tempo. I know that there is the key changer effect at the moment, but using this keep the effect slot free and also would allow to to raise the pitch of 1 song and lower the pitch of the other at the same time!
I've got the up and down arrows on the keyboard set to
UP (+100) (up one semitone on default deck)
DOWN (-100) (down one semitone on default deck)
Got some really nice results so far- don't really know much about working out what key a song is in, so just playing around to see what sounds right and what doesn't.
Now all we need is a skin with a coulple of buttons on and a display of what we've changed so we can see what we're doing! :)
